WARRANTY POLICY

All Aipas bikes are covered under our 1-year, all-inclusive manufacturer's warranty for the owner against all manufacturing defects. 

WARRANTY PERIOD AND TARGET AUDIENCE TERMS

After the initial purchaser orders and receives the product from our online store, please go to the official website or scan the QR code on the frame to submit the order information to activate the warranty, and it is only applicable to the initial purchaser.

Please note we do not accept warranty transfer, we only provide warranty to our original customers.


COVERED PRODUCTS

Aipas Ebike will replace any component that is deemed to be defective or damaged (including damage incurred during shipment), except in case of user error. The warranty covers the listed products and follows the terms below:

Frame

Aipas Ebike frames are covered by a replacement warranty for 1 year.

This warranty includes a replacement frame only. Labor charges associated with transferring parts to replacement frames are not included. An authorized Aipas Ebike service representative will determine if the frame meets the replacement standard.

Frame issues excluded from this warranty include but are not limited to:

  1. Corrosion
  2. Paint fade, scratches, and impact marks
  3. Impact damage
  4. Non-reversible modification (such as drilling or welding)
  5. Chain guard mounted to the frame, if applicable

Batteries

Aipas Ebike batteries are covered by a 1-year prorated warranty.

During the 1 year of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery will remain unchanged from the original purchase date.

Batteries can be assessed and found defective directly by Aipas Ebike only.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  1. Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemical exposure, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
  2. Defects or damage caused by private modification;
  3. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by Aipas Ebike;
  4. Products that have the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, altered, damaged, or made illegible;
  5. Ordinary wear and tear;
  6. Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Aipas Ebikefor the Products;
  7. Defects or damage caused by the assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment of the Products in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
  8. Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.

In addition, with respect to the battery, this Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from following actions or situations:


  1. Charging with a battery charger not intended or appropriate for use with the Battery;
  2. Using a battery charger improperly;
  3. If any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering;
  4. If the Battery has been used in equipment other than the Bike for which it is specified.

Parts & Components

Original Aipas Ebike parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. (If more than 15 days have passed since the date of receipt of the bike, the replacement of parts within the warranty period will require shipping costs.)

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  1. Parts compromised by corrosion due to exposure to the elements (moisture, heat, etc.);
  2. Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the product;
  3. Labor charges for part replacement or changeover;
  4. Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
  5. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Aipas Ebike;
  6. Products with the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
  7. Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Aipas Ebikefor the Products;
  8. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
  9. Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.

Ordinary wear and tear not resulting from defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by Aipas Ebike.


Services

If you notice any problems under the warranty with your bike, please contact us at service@aipasbike.com with the Following Information:

  1. Order number/ID
  2. The email and shipping address you used when placed order
  3. Pictures/Short videos of the problems and a brief description of the problems

 

Parts and Labor

Aipas may provide both parts and labor, but may direct that you replace certain parts yourself, as described below. In most cases, we do not require you to send the defective parts back to us. 

 

Do-It-Yourself

(DIY) Parts Service. DIY Parts Service allows you to service your own product. If Aipas determines that DIY Parts Service is available to you, Aipas will ship to you a replacement part for your product. The replacement part will be accompanied by instructions on installation and any requirements for the return of the replaced part. Aipas reserves the right to decide if the labor costs relating to DIY Parts Service will be covered or not.

 

For any repair outside the Warranty

Even if your problems are not covered by the Warranty, you can purchase the replacement parts from us. As the manufacturer, we offer competitive prices for the parts of our bikes. To purchase replacement parts from us, please contact us at service@aipasbike.com for further information.

We DO NOT accept the return of the bike without emailing us first. If you have any problems with the product, please contact us at service@aipasbike.com. Our dedicated customer support will be more than happy to assist you.

 

Shipping Damage:

Damage to a covered components during shipping is not covered by this Limited Warranty, but Aipas will replace such damaged covered components if you:

  1. Notify Aipas of a covered components damaged in the shipping process within fifteen (15) days of your receipt of the ebike;
  2. Provide Aipas with a dated picture of the damaged covered components;
  3. Take note of any immediately recognizable damage on the shipper’ s Bill of Lading prior to signing off on the shipment.

Shipping damage claims are very time-sensitive, and you must inspect your ebike for damage as soon as you receive it.

If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as use of a freight forwarder or other similar service, Aipas will not replace any Covered Components damaged during such shipping method.

 

Credit Card Chargebacks:

If any ebike purchase becomes subject to a credit card charge back in any amount, and you are still in possession of the ebike, then this Limited Warranty shall be invalidated until the credit card charge back has been resolved.

 

Claims Process:

Aipas will not replace covered components under this limited warranty without first seeing photos or video of the damaged components.

In order to exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you must:

  1. Contact the Aipas Product Support team by visiting https://aipasbike.com/pages/contact  or by phone at (833) 556-3566.
  2. Initially, the Product Support team will identify simple solutions for the issue with your ebike.
  3. When the Product Support team determines that a Covered Component needs to be replaced, they will provide you with instructions on how to return the defective Covered Component and receive a replacement.
  4. After you receive the replacement Covered Component, the Product Support team will assist you in replacing or installing the new Covered Component into your electric bike.
  5. The shipping costs associated with returning a Covered Component will be your responsibility, unless Aipas agrees to pay them in writing. Replacement Covered Components under this Limited Warranty shall only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser.

 

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND AIPAS’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. AIPAS’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE EBIKE, NOR SHALL AIPAS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, AIPAS DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
