BAFANG 1000W Power
The A4 Gentry is equipped with a 1000W outer rotor brushless DC motor from the BAFANG sub-brand. The motor features a 5-level pedal assist system (PAS). At level 1 PAS, the controller can deliver up to 78Nm of torque, while at level 5 PAS, the speed can reach 28MPH or higher. The motor utilizes a sinusoidal wave structure with a rotation speed of up to 3358 revolutions per minute (RPM). This BLDC motor is characterized by low interference, low noise, smooth operation, high speed, high temperature resistance, and an extended lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours, ensuring stability and reliability in various complex environments and prolonged rides.

What are the folded size and weighs of A4?
The folded size of A4 are 32 inch* 22 inch*28 inch. It weighs 55 Lbs (63 Lbs with battery).
Does the A4 have a speed limit, and how can it be removed?
About the limit speed setting, you can check as following steps.
1/Press the plus '+' and the minus '-' buttons simultaneously for few seconds, then enter the Settings Menu.
2/Press 'switch' button to change the number into '08P' which is the speed limitation setting.
3/Default speed setting is 32 km/h, so press the '+' button to make it higher.
4/Shift the rear derailleur to the 7 speed and press the '+' button to the PAS 5, then you could ride it with about 28 mph.
Of course, our max speed can't reach 100 km/h, only reach about 45 km/h when you hold the rear wheel above the floor and the battery in fully charge.
Why is there some noise when I brake?
Due to the new bike's disc brakes needing a break-in period, if the squeaking issue persists after some time, loosen the screws on both sides to ensure the brake pads and disc are perpendicular.
Can the handlebars of the A4 be adjusted for height?
Yes, the handlebars of both our A4 and A2 models can be adjusted for height.
What is the biggest feature of A4?
As the second-generation foldable model launched by Aipas, the A4 has substantially improved performance compared to the previous generation A2. It excels over the A2 in terms of speed (the motor has been upgraded from 750W to 1000W). Additionally, we have made adjustments to enhance comfort, lowering the frame of the vehicle to facilitate easy boarding.
Will there be safety risks with the battery on the outside of A4?
Our battery is UL certified, so there are no issues with everyday use. However, it's advisable to avoid placing it near sources of fire or other hazardous areas. Additionally, all our vehicle batteries and accessories are rated IPX6 for water resistance, meaning they can operate even in rainy weather. Nevertheless, for safety reasons, it's best not to use them in rainy conditions.

This is my first electric bike and it’s perfect for me. I’ve only ridden it a handful of times around my town and really enjoy it. I have yet to try it where I actually intend to use it. The reason my husband and I bought one is to use it at motocross tracks where my grandson races. I will rate again once I get to use it in that environment. We did recommend it to a friend and he bought one. He seems to enjoy it as well.
This is a well balanced and comfortable bike, with the power needed for Hills and mountain trails. Needed only 3 of 5 bars of battery reserve for 30 miles of black hills trail riding.
Pretty good e-bike for the price. Don't expect to find any assembly or operating instructions in the box, nor very little help online. Gears slip on one of the two bikes we bought, trying to figure out how to fix that isn't easy.
I am really enjoying my bike! It hasn't been quite a month yet, and I have ridden 250 miles! I'm still figuring out the range of the battery on different PAS settings. The speedometer was off, because the default setting was 22 for the tires, but the tires are 20. After changing that, the speed seems to be correct. I have alot if friends that are now interested in your bikes.

I'm an old goat and have built several E-bikes from kits in the past. Been looking specifically for one with Bafang motor and UL listing and finally found this brand. I'm impressed with the quality of parts, the build itself and practical style of this bike. Would highly recommend this bike.
